Coach Bynon is the Head Girls Volleyball Coach and a retired Physical Education teacher at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School near Saratoga, New York. Coach Bynon runs Spike Mountain Volleyball Camp, one of the top summer camps in the Northeast and is an adviser for the Lakeside Volleyball Club, one of the top clubs in the Northeast.
Coach Bynon's teams have been in 21 straight New York Final Fours participating in 16 state finals and winning 9 of them since 1999. The Spartans have also captured Section 2 championships 21 straight years and 28 overall titles. The Spartans just won their 36th consecutive Suburban Council Divisional Championship. His teams also own a 390 straight league wins streak from October 1990-October 2015. Coach Bynon is the President of the New York State Volleyball Coaches Association and was recently named the recipient of the Times Union Coach of the Year and Section 2 Coach of the Year.
